New footage details July 2025 multi-vehicle collision in Connecticut
Summary
– Bodycam footage shows Vince McMahon driving over 100 MPH before crash
– Three vehicles involved, including McMahon’s Bentley Continental GT
– Reckless driving charge tied to accelerated pretrial rehabilitation deal
Vince McMahon was involved in a multi-vehicle crash on Thursday, July 24, 2025.
Bodycam footage obtained by The-Sun shows McMahon’s Bentley Continental GT traveling at high speed before swerving and striking a guardrail. An officer at the scene informed him that he had been driving over 100 miles per hour prior to the collision.
During the exchange, McMahon stated he was heading to his granddaughter’s birthday party and had not driven the vehicle in some time. The footage also captured him criticizing himself in the aftermath of the crash. He declined medical attention.
Barbara Dolan, 72, founder and CEO of BD8 Capital Partners, shared her account of the incident in a public Facebook post. She said McMahon struck her vehicle while she was traveling in the right lane of the Merritt Highway. According to Dolan, the impact pushed her car a significant distance down the roadway, and both vehicles were totaled.
Dolan also noted that an unmarked state trooper had been attempting to pull McMahon over moments before the crash. The trooper later stated that McMahon appeared to swerve at the last moment, striking the rear side of her vehicle instead of colliding head-on.
McMahon appeared in court in October 2025. The reckless driving charges are subject to dismissal after one year under accelerated pretrial rehabilitation if he meets specific conditions, including lawful driving and a $1,000 charitable donation.
The newly surfaced footage provides additional clarity into how quickly the events unfolded on that stretch of highway.
