Popular faction joins All Elite Wrestling after TNA departure
Summary
– The Rascalz have signed multi-year deals with All Elite Wrestling
– Sources indicate AEW offered a stronger package than TNA to secure the group
– Myron Reed was pulled from a scheduled match on the TNA AMC debut
The Rascalz have officially joined All Elite Wrestling. According to Fightful Select, the faction consisting of Trey Miguel, Zachary Wentz, Dezmond Xavier, and Myron Reed has signed multi-year deals with the promotion.
While TNA Wrestling attempted to keep the group together, reports indicate that AEW presented a stronger offer. The contracts were finalized during the first week of January, and the team has reportedly already made its debut for the company.
The departure from TNA involved varying contract situations. The deals for Miguel and Wentz expired at the end of 2025, while long-term agreements did not bind Reed and Xavier. Although one member was reportedly determined to leave regardless of the counteroffer, the group is said to have departed on good terms.
The move resulted in immediate changes to TNA programming. Myron Reed was removed from an advertised match against Leon Slater for the iMPACT debut on AMC. The bout was ultimately canceled after WWE expressed interest in booking Slater for a European tour during the same week.
