For the first time, fans of The Walking Dead can own pieces of the show’s legendary history. Heritage Auctions has opened bidding for The Walking Dead Universe Auction, a massive sale running from October 6 through November 1, 2025, featuring more than 1,000 iconic props, costumes, and vehicles from across the franchise.

Among the centerpiece items are Daryl Dixon’s hero crossbow and custom Triumph Bonneville chopper from the early seasons, Negan’s barbed-wire baseball bat “Lucille,” Rick Grimes’ sheriff hat and .357 Magnum revolver, and Michonne’s signature katana and sheath. Each item carries the visual and emotional weight of a series that reshaped modern television.

“This auction is a celebration of The Walking Dead Universe’s incredible legacy and devoted global fanbase,” said Rob Fox, AMC Networks’ EVP of Production. “It allows fans and collectors to own a tangible piece of storytelling that defined a generation.”

Greg Nicotero, the show’s executive producer and special effects mastermind, echoed that sentiment: “As a collector myself, I’m thrilled fans get to own a piece of Walking Dead history. Our show changed how people experienced genre television—and kept zombies terrifying for over a decade.”

The auction’s extensive selection covers all corners of the franchise, from The Walking Dead and Fear the Walking Dead to Dead City and Daryl Dixon. Fans will find everything from Dale’s iconic Winnebago to blood-soaked walker prosthetics and the haunting “Bicycle Girl” from the series’ pilot episode.

Every piece tells a story—from survival and loss to humanity’s enduring fight to live on amid the apocalypse. It’s not just an auction—it’s a farewell to an era of television that refused to die.
