NXT Viewership Jumps 38 Percent

WWE NXT Viewership Jumps to 732,000 on October 13

The CW audience rebounds by 200,000 viewers after the previous week’s head-to-head competition.

Summary

– NXT drew 732,000 viewers on October 13, an increase of about 38 percent

– The adults 18–49 rating rose from 0.10 to 0.14

– The audience gained 200,000 viewers compared with October 6

WWE NXT recovered a substantial portion of its television audience on October 13, averaging 732,000 viewers on The CW.

The two-hour broadcast added 200,000 viewers compared with the October 6 episode, which averaged 532,000. That represents an increase of approximately 37.6 percent, rounded to 38 percent.

The improvement extended to adults aged 18 to 49. NXT posted a 0.14 rating in that demographic, up from 0.10 the week before. The change amounts to 0.04 rating points, or a 40 percent increase.

The comparison follows an unusual week of direct competition. NXT’s October 6 broadcast aired opposite a special Tuesday edition of AEW Dynamite featuring Grand Slam France. That episode of Dynamite averaged 495,000 viewers and a 0.11 rating among adults 18 to 49.

NXT’s prior audience decline had been significant. The October 6 episode fell from 671,000 viewers and a 0.11 rating the previous week. The latest result therefore puts both measures above their levels before that head-to-head broadcast.

The rebound also exceeded NXT’s recent average. October 13 viewership was approximately 16 percent higher than the trailing four-week audience of 629,000, while the demographic rating was about 27 percent above the corresponding 0.11 average.

Those comparisons show that the improvement went beyond recovering from a single low week. However, the overall broadcast average cannot establish which particular match or segment brought viewers back, and it should not be used to credit one performer without more detailed audience data.
