Shaul Guerrero suffered a dislocated hip during a recent performance after a routine move suddenly went wrong.
Matthew Rehwoldt, Guerrero’s husband and a TNA Wrestling commentator, shared the news on social media while praising her for enduring the painful ordeal.
Rehwoldt said Guerrero attempted something she had performed countless times before when her hip suddenly dislocated. She was taken to the hospital, where doctors needed two attempts to reset the joint.
Guerrero spent 14 hours in the emergency room. Rehwoldt did not provide a recovery timetable but asked fans to support her while she heals.
Guerrero currently performs in the burlesque scene under the name Miss Nyxon. Wrestling fans may remember her WWE run as Raquel Diaz and her AEW appearance as a ring announcer during the 2020 Women’s Tag Team Cup Tournament.
She is also the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Eddie Guerrero. Although she eventually pursued a career outside wrestling, her family background and past WWE run have kept her connected to the industry.
For now, Guerrero’s focus is on recovering from the injury after a performance she had completed many times ended with a dislocated hip and a lengthy hospital stay.
My wife is an absolute legend.
Was at a gig last week and did something she’s done 1000 times before but ended up dislocating her hip.
Agonizing pain, a trip to the hospital, taking 2 attempts to get it back in place, and 14hrs in the ER
Send her your recovery vibes ❤️ pic.twitter.com/UmTy0FErcW
