Otis returned to WWE television during the September 7 episode of Monday Night Raw, but his match against Austin Theory quickly became part of The Vision’s war with Oba Femi.
The Vision opened the show by celebrating Bronson Reed’s return and claiming that the reunited group controlled WWE. Akira Tozawa interrupted the faction before revealing that Otis was back.
Otis immediately challenged Theory and controlled the early stages of their match with his power. Theory struggled to stop the returning heavyweight as Otis repeatedly threw him around the ring.
The match ended when Reed entered the ring and attacked Otis, forcing the referee to call for the disqualification. Otis received the victory, but The Vision continued its assault after the bell.
Bron Breakker hit Otis with a Spear while the faction overwhelmed him with its numbers. Tozawa attempted to help his partner but was quickly taken down as well.
Oba Femi then entered despite Breakker claiming earlier in the show that he had not been medically cleared following Sunday Night’s Main Event. Femi ignored officials and marched directly toward the ring.
Femi initially fought through The Vision by knocking down Breakker and Reed. Theory struck him with a steel chair, but the attack barely slowed The Ruler before he grabbed Theory and threw him across the ring.
The numbers eventually became too much for Femi. Breakker connected with multiple Spears while Reed delivered a running senton and repeatedly crushed Femi with Tsunamis from the top rope.
Officials struggled to stop the attack as The Vision stood over Femi for the second consecutive night. His attempt to save Otis and Tozawa ended with the faction leaving him damaged once again.
Otis may have won his return match, but The Vision controlled the final moments. With Reed back beside Breakker, Theory, Logan Paul, and Maxxine Dupri, the group appears more dangerous than ever.
