The WWE star responded directly to a fan in Savannah
Summary
– Liv Morgan spotted a fan holding a Hooters sign during WWE’s Savannah live event
– Morgan responded by flipping off the fan before continuing with the show
– The sign referenced Morgan’s well-known job at Hooters before joining WWE
Liv Morgan had a direct response for a fan who referenced her pre-WWE career during the company’s August 30 live event in Savannah.
Footage from the show captured Morgan noticing a sign in the crowd that read “Go Back to Hooters.” Rather than ignoring it, Morgan responded by giving the fan the middle finger before moving on.
The reference was aimed at Morgan’s life before professional wrestling. She worked at Hooters before receiving her opportunity with WWE and has openly discussed that period of her life in previous interviews.
During a 2024 appearance on Impaulsive, Morgan explained that working at Hooters played a role in helping her become more comfortable with her sexuality and presentation.
Morgan recalled entering WWE with a much more modest approach to her ring gear. She initially wanted her wrestling to speak for itself and preferred clothing that kept her more covered.
That outlook gradually changed as the Liv Morgan character developed. Morgan said she eventually found confidence and power in embracing a different presentation instead of viewing sexuality as something she needed to avoid.
Her previous job at Hooters has never been a secret, making the Savannah sign more of a personal jab than a revelation about her past.
The fan still managed to get Morgan’s attention, and the WWE star made her feelings about the message unmistakably clear.
