The WWE Hall of Famer shared a message about unity after Democrats won control of Congress
Summary
– Mick Foley welcomed the Democratic victories with a message about Americans finding common ground
– Democrats won control of both the House and Senate in the 2026 midterms
– Foley had urged voters to support Democrats days before Election Day
Mick Foley responded to the Democratic victories in the 2026 midterms with a brief message calling for unity.
“Very happy with tonight’s results. We have so much more in common that unites us than divides us,” Foley wrote on his Instagram Story after Democrats won control of both chambers of Congress.
His reaction followed a political video posted days before the election. Foley identified himself as an independent voter and urged Americans to consider voting for Democrats, arguing that Congress needed to serve as a stronger check on President Donald Trump.
In the video, Foley criticized Trump and members of Congress for what he viewed as their failure to challenge the president. He also criticized Elon Musk over USAID as he made his case to voters.
Foley’s latest post struck a more conciliatory tone, focusing on what Americans share rather than repeating his earlier political arguments.
