– Ospreay thanked Omega for the assistance but insisted that he did not need his help

Kenny Omega came to the aid of Will Ospreay during the August 12 episode of AEW Dynamite, but the rescue did little to ease the tension between the two rivals.

After helping Ospreay escape the dangerous situation, Omega confronted him about the problems surrounding them. He reminded Ospreay that he had previously warned him about Don Callis and Jon Moxley.

Omega also referenced the wrestler calling himself the real world champion, describing him as a shared problem for both men. However, Omega believes those outside threats have distracted Ospreay and negatively affected his judgment.

“It’s made you sloppy,” Omega told him. “It’s made you a fool, Will Ospreay, and you will lose everything.”

Despite his frustration, Omega said the current version of Ospreay is not the opponent he wants to face at Wembley Stadium. He made it clear that he wants Ospreay fully focused when they finally meet.

Omega also warned that he would not come to Ospreay’s rescue again. From this point forward, their relationship will be limited to the battle awaiting them at Wembley.

“I can’t help you like this again,” Omega said. “From here on in, it’s just me and you.”

Ospreay acknowledged the assistance but refused to accept that he needed Omega to save him.

“I appreciate the help, but I didn’t ask for it, and I’m not going to need your help,” Ospreay responded.

The tense exchange showed that Omega and Ospreay may share common enemies, but their upcoming match remains the priority. Omega wants Ospreay at his best, while Ospreay appears determined to prove that he can handle his problems without anyone’s help.
