According to Wrestlenomics, Friday’s show averaged 1.470 million viewers. That represents an increase of approximately 6.6 percent from the 1.379 million viewers who watched the July 31 episode.
SmackDown also earned a 0.35 rating among adults ages 18 to 49. The previous episode recorded a 0.31 rating in the same demographic, representing an increase of nearly 13 percent.
Cody Rhodes and Randy Orton generated the most-viewed SmackDown segment on WWE’s YouTube channel. The full segment featuring Rhodes vowing to kill Orton’s legend attracted 876,000 views.
A video featuring CM Punk and Kevin Owens discussing their volatile history followed with 672,000 views. Alexa Bliss and Tatum Paxley helping Charlotte Flair defeat Jade Cargill generated 653,000 views.
