Jordan was scheduled to defend her title against a mystery opponent. Paige emerged as the challenger, returning to the brand where she became its inaugural Women’s Champion.
Paige fought back with headbutts, strikes, and knees before taking the action outside the ring. She slammed Jordan onto the floor and into the barricade, then later connected with her RamPaige finisher. Jordan kicked out and answered with a crossface and a DDT.
Paige stopped Jordan’s split-legged moonsault by getting her knees up. She later tried for another RamPaige, but Jordan countered into a roll-up and secured the pinfall.
Paige never lost the NXT Women’s Championship during her first run, making the title opportunity a chance to reclaim the belt she helped establish. Instead, Jordan celebrated another successful defense, while Paige’s future in NXT remains uncertain.
