Alexa Bliss says her WWE return came with a firm condition: her daughter Hendrix needed to accompany her on the road.
Speaking with Brandi Rhodes, Bliss explained that she negotiated the arrangement into her contract. Hendrix was barely a year old, and spending several days away each week was unacceptable to her.
Her husband Ryan Cabrera also tours regularly, making their family’s travel arrangements especially important.
Traveling together requires considerably more luggage, but Bliss values being present. She recalled feeling upset when Cabrera sent footage of Hendrix discovering the moon during a UK trip she made without her.
Hendrix has since become comfortable backstage and enjoys watching wrestling. For Bliss, the extra planning helps her balance performing with motherhood.
