Jeffrey Dean Morgan will return to television shortly after the Season 3 premiere of The Walking Dead: Dead City.
Morgan has a recurring role as Joe in Sterling Point, a new coming-of-age drama arriving on Prime Video on August 5.

Created by Megan Park, the series follows 17-year-old Annie Jacobson after her life takes an unexpected turn.
Annie was raised in New York City alongside her twin brother, Connor, and their adoptive father, Steven.
Her world changes when she learns that her estranged grandfather has died and left her a mysterious island in Canada.
The inheritance introduces Annie to new friendships, possible romances, and family secrets that were previously hidden from her.
Ella Rubin leads the cast as Annie, while Keen Ruffalo portrays Connor, and Jay Duplass plays Steven.
Morgan appears briefly in the trailer as Joe, although specific details about the character and his connection to Annie’s family remain limited.
