Becky Lynch is heading into WWE Clash in Italy with no shortage of confidence and very little respect for Sol Ruca.
The WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion is set to defend her title against Ruca after their match at Saturday Night’s Main Event ended in controversy. That bout was over quickly after Lynch pulled referee Jessika Carr into the path of Ruca’s Sol Snatcher, causing a disqualification.
Speaking with Corey Graves in a WWE interview, Lynch said fans should expect more of the same from Ruca. She claimed Ruca is not ready for the main roster and pointed out that she has not won a match since arriving.
Lynch also mocked Ruca’s disqualification win, saying she basically won the match for her. The champion said she is so good at winning that she now wins matches for other people.
The trash talk only got sharper from there. Lynch said Ruca has taken on more than she can handle and predicted this could be the end of her main roster run.
Lynch said Ruca will be embarrassed and sent back home after their title match. She also made it clear that she already expects to leave Italy still holding the Women’s Intercontinental Championship.
The champion even laid out her post-match plans. Lynch said she may stay in Europe, celebrate with her family, enjoy a vacation, and have a pint of Guinness after retaining her title.
Lynch closed by calling herself the greatest female wrestler of all time while saying Ruca does not deserve to share the ring with her. She also blamed Ruca for what happened at Saturday Night’s Main Event, claiming Ruca proved she could not handle the moment.
Their rematch now carries more heat than before. Ruca has a chance to prove Lynch wrong, but Becky is walking into Italy acting like the result is already decided.
