The Women’s Intercontinental Champion claims Sol Ruca may not be cleared for Clash in Italy

Becky Lynch is adding more doubt to her Women’s Intercontinental Championship defense at WWE Clash in Italy.
Lynch is scheduled to defend her title against Sol Ruca on May 31. WWE made the rematch official after Ruca defeated Lynch by disqualification at Saturday Night’s Main Event.
The Man later took to social media and claimed Ruca was not medically cleared. Lynch also mocked her challenger with the nickname Sol Puka and said Ruca was not ready to step in the ring with her.
WWE has not announced that the match is off. The company still lists Lynch vs. Ruca as part of the Clash in Italy card, with the Women’s Intercontinental Championship on the line.
The uncertainty follows their Saturday Night’s Main Event match, which ended in controversy. Lynch was disqualified after pulling referee Jessika Carr into the path of Ruca’s Sol Snatcher, leading to Ruca being awarded the win.
Ruca now has a chance to turn that disputed victory into a championship moment. Lynch, meanwhile, is using the medical clearance claim to keep pressure on her challenger before they meet in Italy.
Until WWE confirms a change, the match remains advertised. That leaves Lynch’s comments as another layer of storyline tension heading into the title defense.
