PlayStation 5 continued its strong run in the United States, finishing as the best-selling console for February for the second consecutive month. The latest data from Circana shows Sony maintaining momentum in the hardware space, with the Nintendo Switch 2 once again landing in second place.
On the software side, Resident Evil Requiem claimed the top spot as the best-selling game of the month. The title debuted at number one, outperforming several established franchises in the process.
NBA 2K26 held steady at number two, while Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 dropped from the top position last month to number three. Minecraft remained a consistent performer at number four, continuing its long-standing presence on the charts.
Helldivers II made a notable jump into the top five, posting strong sales growth from the previous month. EA Sports FC 26 and Battlefield 6 followed closely, keeping Electronic Arts well represented in the rankings.
Madden NFL 26 also secured a place within the top ten, alongside a new entry from Square Enix with Dragon Quest VII: Reimagined. Grand Theft Auto V rounded out the list, continuing its remarkable longevity in the charts.
It is worth noting that Nintendo’s digital sales are not included in these rankings, which may impact the overall picture of game performance across platforms.
