Taylor shared a message on her Instagram Story on March 7 to address what she described as increasingly uncomfortable interactions from certain fans online. She explained that some people have begun interpreting a simple reply as the start of a personal friendship.
According to Taylor, the situation has become frequent enough that she felt the need to address it publicly. She opened her statement by saying the behavior she has experienced recently has been disturbing.
“I guess this needs to be said, because it’s happening more frequently…and I find it to be INSANE and CREEPY AF.”
Taylor made it clear that she appreciates fans who send supportive messages. At the same time, she stressed that responding to someone does not mean a personal relationship exists.
“1st: I appreciate fans and messages of support. If you are a fan and I respond to you, this does not mean that we are now BFFs.”
She then explained some of the specific situations she has encountered. Taylor revealed that certain individuals have been sending repeated voice messages and invitations to meet whenever WWE travels to their city.
“I DO NOT want daily voice messages from you, we are NOT hanging out, NO you cannot take me to dinner when I am in town, NO we are not going to concerts together, NO I will not respond to every single message that you send.”
Taylor ended her comments with a blunt reminder that the behavior she described is not appropriate.
“It’s F*****ING weird behavior.”
The WWE ring announcer has worked with the company since 2018. While she remains active with fans online, Taylor has often emphasized that she prefers to keep her private life separate from her public role.
