Marie Malenko has taken another step in her wrestling career by participating in a recent WWE tryout at the Performance Center in Orlando.

The session, first reported by Fightful, featured a mix of independent standouts and emerging prospects. For Malenko, the opportunity came less than a month after she made her in-ring debut for Pro Wrestling NOAH.

Malenko carries a well-known wrestling lineage. She is the daughter of Dean Malenko, a former ECW, WCW, and WWE champion, and the granddaughter of Boris Malenko. That background makes her a third-generation competitor. Dean Malenko currently works backstage for AEW.

Former Ring of Honor talent Erick Stevens recently shared that he has trained with Malenko and believes she has the potential to develop into a top technical wrestler with more ring experience.

The tryout class also included several independent names such as Miranda Alize, Notorious Mimi, Zoe Sager, Promise Braxton, Ricky South, Valentina Rossi, Fallyn Grey, Nikki Blackheart, The Tuckman, and Scott Green.

WWE regularly evaluates talent through Performance Center tryouts, offering select prospects the chance to earn contracts or future opportunities. For Malenko, the appearance signals continued momentum early in her career.
