Netflix has officially revealed new details surrounding the upcoming second season of WWE Unreal, confirming a new creative focus and an expanded lineup of major WWE names.

Season 2 will shift its focus away from WrestleMania coverage and instead document the months leading up to SummerSlam 2025. Cameras will follow WWE’s creative team and performers as they navigate one of the most demanding stretches of the calendar, offering an inside look at how the company assembles its second-largest annual event.

Several high-profile WWE Superstars are confirmed to appear throughout the season. The list includes Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, Cody Rhodes, Rhea Ripley, Iyo Sky, Naomi, R-Truth, Chelsea Green, Lyra Valkyria, and Penta. The show will also feature appearances from Pat McAfee and Jelly Roll, highlighting WWE’s growing crossover with mainstream entertainment.

Season 2 will consist of five episodes, each approximately 50 minutes in length. Episodes will capture creative meetings, travel exhaustion, personal conflicts, and emotional moments as talent balances real-life pressures with on-screen expectations.

The series is directed by Chris Weaver and showrun by Erik Powers, with executive production from Peyton Manning and Jamie Horowitz. WWE Unreal remains a joint project between Netflix, WWE, Omaha Productions, Skydance Sports, and NFL Films.

Following a successful first season that documented major creative shifts and WrestleMania season tension, Season 2 is positioned to deliver deeper access and higher stakes as SummerSlam takes center stage.
