Former WWE star officially joins All Elite Wrestling

Summary

– Lane signs full-time deal with AEW after impressing officials

– Former Women’s Tag Team Champion reflects on difficult WWE exit

– Already wrestling for ROH and moving quickly into AEW’s women’s division

Lacey Lane is officially part of AEW. Reports indicate that her performance against Mercedes Moné for the TBS Championship convinced company officials to offer her a contract. Lane did not win the match, but her performance made enough of an impact behind the scenes to secure the deal.

The former WWE talent, previously known as Kayden Carter, has wasted no time gaining experience across AEW and Ring of Honor. She has already appeared on ROH tapings, including a match for the Interim ROH Women’s TV Title against Mina Shirakawa. Lane is also continuing to build her momentum on the independent circuit.

Lane recently spoke about her frustrations with WWE. She recalled submitting numerous ideas and refining elements of her presentation in search of additional opportunities. She also explained that, despite strong backstage support, the feeling of not being chosen eventually took a toll.

Her move to AEW marks a fresh start. Lane now focuses on climbing the ranks in the women’s division rather than seeking approval. With early appearances against top names, she is already establishing her presence.
