Leighton Meester and Jared Padalecki lead the holiday romantic comedy. Meester plays a bodyguard assigned to protect a movie star, played by Padalecki, over Christmas. Their working relationship becomes complicated as romance enters the picture.
The film adapts Katherine Center’s 2022 novel The Bodyguard. Elizabeth Allen Rosenbaum directs, with Andie MacDowell, Noah LaLonde, and Walker Hayes also among the cast. Netflix lists Punk under his real name, Phil Brooks.
For fans accustomed to seeing Punk inside a WWE ring, the trailer offers a different setting and a lighter moment. The preview alone does not establish the size of his role or reveal his full storyline.
