Stephanie McMahon recalled an uncomfortable encounter on Boston’s public transit system during a conversation on her What’s Your Story? podcast.

McMahon said she boarded a crowded T train and stood near the entrance because no seats were available. Her hand was resting on a divider beside a seated passenger when she felt something graze her finger.

“I’ll tell you, the creepiest thing happened to me, though. I was on the T in Boston, and it was a packed T.”

After noticing the contact, McMahon looked toward the man seated nearby. She said the interaction made her uneasy, although she acknowledged that he did not do anything further.

“He didn’t really do anything, right? But it felt weird, though.”

Being alone added to her discomfort. Rather than address the passenger, McMahon quietly moved her hand away and avoided looking at him again.

“And I was alone, you know? And so I just slowly, like, took my hand off and didn’t look at that person again.”

Asked whether she tried speaking to him, McMahon said she had no intention of starting a conversation. She also recalled that he wore dark sunglasses, which prevented her from seeing his eyes.

McMahon emphasized that the contact itself was brief and limited to her finger. Even so, she described the moment as unusually personal and unsettling.

She did not describe a further confrontation. The encounter ended with her pulling away, but the discomfort remained memorable enough for her to revisit on the podcast.
