Summary

– Chris Jericho put James Ellsworth on The List again after he asked to be removed

– Ellsworth shared their playful reunion on Instagram on October 4

– The exchange revisited their WWE confrontation before Survivor Series 2016

James Ellsworth hoped nearly a decade on The List would be enough to earn a pardon from Chris Jericho. Their reunion instead ended with Jericho adding him again.

Ellsworth shared the encounter on Instagram on October 4. He opened the video by jokingly calling himself a television legend and future Hall of Famer before finally asking Jericho to remove his name.

Jericho responded by recalling the confrontation between Team Raw and Team SmackDown ahead of Survivor Series 2016. Ellsworth had been standing at ringside when Jericho singled him out and placed him on The List.

The familiar insults quickly returned. Jericho called Ellsworth “Chins McMahon” and mocked his appearance as Ellsworth realized his appeal was going nowhere.

Ellsworth repeatedly asked him not to deliver the inevitable punchline. Jericho continued teasing the announcement, accusing him of trying to grovel his way off The List after 10 years.

Despite the protests, Jericho delivered his signature line and declared that Ellsworth had made The List again. Ellsworth reacted with disbelief before conceding that another attempt would have to wait.

He joked that he would try again in 10 more years, closing the exchange with another failed request for forgiveness.

The video brought back their 2016 interaction with a brief comedy routine centered on Jericho’s familiar character. Ellsworth wanted his name erased, but Jericho made sure the joke continued.
