Punk steals the win from Finn Bálor and GUNTHER

CM Punk is headed to the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match after winning a chaotic Triple Threat qualifier on the September 25 episode of SmackDown.
Punk entered the match looking to rebound after losing the Undisputed WWE Championship to Sami Zayn. A victory would give him another route back into the title picture.
Finn Bálor and GUNTHER both came close to earning the final spot. Bálor connected with the Coup de Grâce on GUNTHER, but Punk landed on top of his opponent and secured the three-count before either man could recover.
Punk now joins Bron Breakker, Je’Von Evans, Trick Williams, and Penta in the ladder match. The final men’s spot will be decided next week when Kevin Owens, Cody Rhodes, and Johnny Gargano compete in another Triple Threat qualifier.
With the briefcase now within reach, Punk has an opportunity to turn his championship setback into another guaranteed title opportunity.
