A new action thriller is taking shape with a powerhouse cast. Kiefer Sutherland, Al Pacino, and Ever Anderson headline Father Joe, an upcoming film from writer and producer Luc Besson, now in production and set to be showcased at the American Film Market. Kinology will handle international sales, while CAA Media Finance oversees domestic rights.

Set in 1990s Manhattan, the story follows Sutherland as a priest who takes a violent stand against organized crime. Al Pacino plays the ruthless mob boss whose empire becomes the target of Father Joe’s vengeance. Ever Anderson, known for her role in Black Widow, portrays a young woman torn between danger and redemption under the mentorship of Joe.

Directed by Barthélémy Grossmann, the film is produced by LB Production, EuropaCorp, and Sutherland himself. Father Joe continues Besson’s streak of gritty, character-driven action following projects like DogMan and Dracula. With Sutherland stepping into a dark moral struggle and Pacino commanding the screen as his formidable rival, Father Joe promises an explosive clash of faith, power, and retribution.
