The Creed Brothers made a statement on the September 1 episode of NXT, returning to the brand and immediately attacking Noam Dar and Romeo Moreno.
Julius and Brutus Creed appeared following Dar and Moreno’s tag team victory over Sean Legacy and Dorian Van Dux. It marked their first NXT appearance since Halloween Havoc on October 31, 2023.
Dar and Moreno had just survived a chaotic finish to pick up the win. Van Dux connected with a frog splash on Dar before Legacy made a blind tag and attempted a springboard 450 splash.
Dar raised his knees to block the move, caught Legacy after the landing, and rolled him up for the three-count.
The celebration was quickly interrupted when Julius and Brutus hit the ring and went after Dar and Moreno.
The Creeds capped off the attack by lifting Moreno for their Brutus Ball and powerbomb combination, leaving the former NXT Tag Team Champions standing tall.
The confrontation also continued a recent pattern involving the teams. Julius and Brutus defeated Legacy and Van Dux on the July 23 episode of WWE Main Event before defeating Dar and Moreno on August 6.
They followed that performance with another victory over BirthRight members Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo and Uriah Connors on August 13, giving the Creeds three consecutive Main Event wins against NXT talent.
Julius and Brutus had largely disappeared from WWE’s major weekly television shows under their normal Creed Brothers presentation, although they remained active.
They previously appeared under the name Los Americanos Hermanos behind masks during the El Grande Americano storyline before returning as American Made on Main Event in July.
No confirmed explanation has been given for why the brothers were kept away from Raw and SmackDown in their regular roles.
Their NXT return now appears to provide them with a fresh direction after months of limited television exposure.
By immediately attacking Dar and Moreno, Julius and Brutus also targeted a team they had already defeated, potentially setting up another confrontation as the former NXT Tag Team Champions reestablish themselves on the brand.
