SmackDown faced tough competition, including an NBA game on ESPN, which finished third on TV with a 0.36 rating in the key demo, and a college football game on Fox that earned a 0.34 rating.

Compared to the same week in 2023, SmackDown’s overall viewership doubled, and its 18-49 demo rating surged by 91.7%. This growth highlights the show’s resurgence and ability to outperform sports programming and its previous benchmarks.
