Mandy Rose wound up being “demoted” from the WWE main roster to NXT in 2021, and she recently spoke with McKenzie Mitchell about the move.
According to the former WWE NXT Women’s Champion, her goal on the WWE NXT brand was to be taken more seriously. She said,
“I went with the whole dark hair look and I just had kind of a different vibe going. I just wanted to be a little edgier, I wanted to be taken more serious because it was always ‘The Golden Goddess’ and I wanted to switch it up.”
Rose was released from WWE in December of 2022 due to some risque content she posted on her FanTime account.
