Ratings Dip Amidst Competition and Event Scheduling

Summary

– AEW Collision averages 385,000 viewers on Saturday night, down 21.6% from its last airing.

– The absence of Collision on February 17 due to NBA All-Star Weekend contributes to the decline.

– Viewership hits its lowest since January 27, coinciding with WWE’s Royal Rumble, with a 0.11 rating in the 18-49 demo.

Saturday night’s episode of AEW Collision averaged 385,000 viewers on TNT, down 21.6 percent from when the show last aired two weeks ago. There was no Collision on February 17 due to NBA All-Star Weekend.

This is the lowest viewership for Collision since January 27, when it went head-to-head with WWE’s Royal Rumble. It’s the seventh-lowest audience total for a Saturday airing of Collision.

Collision drew a 0.11 rating in the 18-49 demo. That’s down 26.7 percent from two weeks ago and is the seventh-lowest rating the show has ever done in that category.

WWE had its Elimination Chamber premium live event from Perth earlier in the day, which traditionally has hurt Collision ratings even when not running head-to-head. The six Saturday Collision episodes with lower viewership totals than this happened on the same day as a WWE PLE.
