It’s worth noting that Triple H announced Aldis’s new role on a recent episode of SmackDown. Apart from his GM duties, Aldis has been contributing backstage as a producer since August. He has also clarified that he has yet to hang up his wrestling boots. There was a recent hiccup when Aldis had to withdraw from a Dungeon Wrestling event in Calgary due to a scheduling clash with SmackDown. However, it’s anticipated that he will honor prior commitments as long as they don’t conflict with his SmackDown responsibilities.
