Rose Opens Up About Her WWE Journey and the Turning Point in NXT
Mandy Rose, a name familiar to WWE enthusiasts, has had a journey marked by highs and lows since her initiation into the company through “Tough Enough” in 2015. While her main roster journey had its moments, it could have been smoother sailing. Recently, Rose candidly revealed her dissatisfaction with her WWE trajectory before her transformative move to NXT.
Despite not clinching the win in “Tough Enough,” Rose’s potential was evident, leading to her WWE contract and subsequent main roster debut. However, connecting with the audience proved challenging for various reasons. It was her transition to NXT that marked a turning point. In NXT, Rose was embraced and celebrated, eventually being recognized as one of the most impactful NXT Women’s Champions.
On her new podcast, “Power Alphas,” Rose delved deeper into her feelings during her main roster days. She said, “I wasn’t very happy with what I was doing then. So, in my head, I looked at it as a positive reinforcement… this could be something really big and really new and innovative for me.”
