The End of Hit Row: Top Dolla Declares the Group’s Demise

Top Dolla’s journey in WWE was a rollercoaster of highs and lows. Despite understanding the dynamics of WWE, he faced challenges in establishing himself the way he envisioned. His recent release from WWE has sparked conversations about the fate of the group “Hit Row.” In a candid revelation, Top Dolla declared that “Hit Row is dead” after his departure.

The group made a comeback to WWE in August 2022 under Triple H’s creative direction, with all members except Swerve Strickland, who transitioned to AEW. While Top Dolla’s release was a part of WWE’s latest series of talent cuts, other members like B-Fab and Ashante Thee Adonis remained with the company. Responding to a fan’s query on Twitter about the group’s future, Top Dolla emphasized that B-Fab and Adonis would now have their moment in the spotlight, suggesting that his presence might have overshadowed them.

Top Dolla’s tweet read, “I could be wrong, but I think Hit Row is dead. I made the song, I made the catchphrases… Maybe now that I’m gone, they’ll actually be given a microphone.” He hinted that his presence might have been the reason the group wasn’t given more opportunities to speak.
