A Glimpse into the Fresh Faces at WWE’s Performance Center
WWE’s commitment to scouting fresh talent was evident during their recent tryouts at the Performance Center. Among the many hopefuls, Richard Holliday, a former top star from MLW, stood out. While Holliday’s name has yet to be a regular feature on the main roster, his presence at the tryouts could signal a potential shift.
The list of participants was diverse and included several notable names. Brogan Finlay, a fourth-generation wrestler and son of Fit Finlay, was among those who showcased their skills. Other participants included Copeland Barbee, Davey Gold from Monster Factory, Jay Malachi of AEW Dark fame, Jamie Stanley, an NWA referee and wrestler, and Ray Jaz, who has experience in both AEW Dark and MLW.
The tryouts also featured talents like Hollyhood Haley J from OVW, Kelsey Hornack, Valentina Rossi with AEW Dark experience, and Madi Wrenkowski, a popular name from the NWA.
While participation in the tryouts is a significant step, it doesn’t guarantee a contract. However, being at the WWE Performance Center is a move in the right direction for these talents. As the wrestling community waits with bated breath, it remains to be seen who among these will emerge as the next WWE superstar.
