Dynamite’s Impressive Stand Against US Open Tennis

AEW Dynamite’s recent episode on TBS garnered an average of 887,000 viewers, marking a 1.8 percent increase from the previous week. This viewership is the highest the show has achieved since August 2.

On the cable charts, Dynamite secured the second spot, with only the US Open tennis on ESPN surpassing it. The episode recorded a 0.31 rating in the 18-49 demographic, reflecting a 3.3 percent rise from the week prior. This ties it with the fourth-best rating in this demographic since the conclusion of the NBA season in June.

Interestingly, Dynamite outperformed ABC’s network TV programming in the 18-49 age group for the entire duration of the show. During its second hour, Dynamite also surpassed CBS and NBC in ratings, though it remained behind Fox.

When juxtaposed with the same timeframe in 2022, Dynamite’s viewership saw a decline of 14.3 percent in total viewers and a drop of 18.4 percent in the 18-49 demographic.
