The Fallout from NXT Heatwave Sees a Decline in Viewership Numbers

The aftermath of WWE NXT’s Heatwave special witnessed a notable decline in viewership. According to Wrestlenomics, the recent episode of WWE NXT aired last night garnered an average of 614,000 viewers. This figure marks a significant drop from the previous week’s NXT Heatwave special, which pulled in 720,000 viewers. The episode preceding the Heatwave special had an average viewership of 680,000.

In terms of key demographic ratings (P18-49), WWE NXT secured a 0.16 rating, a decrease from the 0.19 rating achieved during the NXT Heatwave week. The NXT episode from two weeks prior also managed to secure a 0.19 rating.

As WWE NXT gears up for its next premium live event, “No Mercy”, scheduled for September 30 in Bakersfield, California, it remains to be seen how these ratings will influence the show’s direction and content.
