AEW Rampage’s Viewership Faces a Decline

0

Recent Numbers Indicate a Downward Trend for AEW’s Friday Night Show

AEW’s “Rampage” has been a staple for wrestling fans on Friday nights. However, recent viewership statistics indicate a concerning trend for the show. The episode aired on August 25th garnered 337,000 viewers, with only 132k falling within the coveted 18 to 49 demographic. This demographic saw a 22% drop from the previous week. For context, the August 18th episode had an average of 389,000 viewers, with 155k from the 18 to 49 age group.

This decline isn’t a one-off instance. The numbers have been gradually decreasing over the past weeks, with previous episodes also showing a dip in viewership. Despite the fluctuating numbers, AEW continues to deliver action-packed episodes, with the recent one being filmed after the “Collision” event.

While the reasons for this decline remain speculative, AEW will likely strategize to boost viewership in the coming weeks. With a dedicated fanbase and a rich roster of talent, it remains to be seen how AEW will address this challenge and reinvigorate interest in “Rampage.”
