The Elite’s Influence and Responsibilities in AEW’s Backstage Dynamics Revealed

Tony Khan, the president of All Elite Wrestling (AEW), recently provided insights into the roles and responsibilities of The Elite as Executive Vice Presidents (EVPs) of the company. During a media call promoting AEW’s “All In” event in London, Khan elaborated on The Elite members’ significant influence in shaping the company’s direction.

Khan highlighted that Kenny Omega and the Jacksons (Young Bucks) play pivotal roles in ideating and constructing major events. While many wrestlers contribute backstage, only a few carry the esteemed title of EVP. Kenny Omega, in particular, is deeply involved with the AEW games brand. The Young Bucks, on the other hand, have a significant hand in the creative aspects, although Khan did not delve into specific details.

Interestingly, Adam Page, another member of The Elite, does not hold the EVP title and thus does not share the same responsibilities as Omega and the Jacksons. The Elite had previously contemplated a move to WWE but ultimately chose to remain with AEW. Factors like a lighter AEW schedule and retaining their EVP statuses likely influenced their decision.

Mark Henry, another prominent figure in the wrestling community, mentioned that The Elite members are on board with AEW for four-year deals.
