The August 11 Episode Records a Dip, but Key Demographic Shows a Minor Uptick

The viewership numbers for the August 11 episode of AEW Rampage are in, and they indicate a slight decline from the previous week. According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, the episode attracted 398,000 viewers, down from the 434,000 viewers the show garnered on August 4. However, there’s a silver lining for AEW as the key demographic of 18 to 49 saw a minor increase. The show recorded a 0.15 rating in this demographic, a slight rise from the 0.14 rating of the previous episode.

Despite the dip in overall viewership, AEW Rampage had some notable moments that garnered attention on YouTube. Highlights included Saraya and Skye Blue battling for a spot at AEW All In at Wembley, Orange Cassidy defending his AEW International title against Johnny TV, and Darby seeking revenge against Brian Cage.

While AEW Rampage’s viewership experienced a decline, WWE SmackDown, which aired on FOX, drew 2,097,000 viewers with a key demographic rating of 0.55.
