The bout was abruptly halted when R-Truth landed awkwardly following a dive, leading to a torn quad. Subsequently, he underwent surgery to address the injury.

However, in a recent development, R-Truth shared a photo of himself at the WWE Performance Center on August 9, hinting at his ongoing recovery and determination to make a comeback. The post garnered significant attention, with fans and fellow wrestlers alike sending their well-wishes and speculating about his return. Grayson Waller, his opponent during the fateful match, also chimed in with a playful jab, to which R-Truth responded in his characteristic humorous style.
