The show was headlined by NXT North American Champion Dominik Mysterio defending his title against Dragon Lee, with WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio in his corner. This significant moment and Tyler Bate winning Noam Dar’s version of the NXT UK Heritage Cup contributed to the ratings boost.
Dominik’s debut on July 18 and subsequent success in the North American title division have been reliable ratings drivers for NXT. WWE executives are reportedly high on “Judgment Day,” with central figures like Rhea Ripley, Damian Priest, and Finn Balor playing key roles across Tuesday’s NXT programming and WWE Raw on Monday nights.
