Chris Jericho, MJF, and the AEW Locker Room Thank Tony Khan for His Vision and Leadership
In a heartwarming display of camaraderie and gratitude, All Elite Wrestling (AEW) celebrated its 200th episode of Dynamite with a special tribute to the man behind it all, Tony Khan. The AEW President & CEO was surprised on stage by wrestling icons Chris Jericho and AEW World Champion MJF, along with the entire AEW locker room.
During the celebration, Chris Jericho lauded Khan’s vision that started five years ago with the idea of creating a unique wrestling company. He highlighted the company’s focus on offering something different in pro wrestling and creating new stars.
MJF, the reigning AEW World Champion, shared a personal story about his decision to join AEW. He expressed his gratitude to Khan for providing an alternative to WWE, allowing him to be the version of himself he wanted to be in the wrestling world.
In a surprise move, the entire AEW locker room joined the stage to express their collective gratitude to Khan. The AEW President, visibly moved by the unexpected tribute, thanked everyone on stage and the fans for making the night one of the most important of his life.
