Tony Khan Expresses Interest in WWE Acquisition

Khan Responds to Triple H’s ‘Secondary Promotion’ Comment, Asserts AEW’s Dominance

In a recent interview, Tony Khan, CEO of All Elite Wrestling (AEW), addressed the company’s milestone 200th episode and the upcoming All In event. Khan, who once wrote imaginary episodes of a pro-wrestling show as a teenager, is now celebrating the 200th episode of AEW Dynamite, a testament to the company’s success and longevity.

Khan also touched on the upcoming All In event on August 27 at Wembley Stadium. Despite not announcing a single match, the event has already sold more than 77,000 tickets, a testament to AEW’s popularity and fan base.

The CEO also responded to WWE executive Paul “Triple H” Levesque’s remark about AEW being a “secondary promotion.” Khan firmly stated that AEW is not secondary in many markets and is not taking a back seat to anyone. He cited the upcoming All In show in London, where ticket sales are approaching 80,000, as evidence of AEW’s dominance.

Khan also discussed the unexpected success of the tag team of Adam Cole and MJF. Despite being on different sides of the good-guy/bad-guy spectrum, the duo has formed a bond that has captivated fans and become one of AEW’s biggest success stories.
