Rhodes took the opportunity to clarify the concept of a “Cody Lie,” a term that has gained traction in the wrestling community. He equated it to the “Dusty Finish,” a common wrestling term that his father, Dusty Rhodes, reportedly detested. Cody Rhodes emphasized that while he might embellish non-serious situations for fun, he never lies about anything serious.
In the interview, Rhodes also addressed the specific lie in question, which suggested that he was a “pecker checker,” implying that he was looking at other guys in the shower. Rhodes clarified that he was likely told that Cardona and his partner were thrown out of the locker room for such behavior, but he disputes it.
