WWE’s Liv Morgan Suffers Shoulder Injury, Written Off Television
Liv Morgan, WWE’s Women’s World Champion, has been sidelined due to a shoulder injury. During Monday’s WWE Raw, an angle was staged where Rhea Ripley, scheduled to wrestle Morgan, attacked her before the match could start. The attack was so severe that Morgan was clearly being written off television. This incident comes shortly after Morgan’s return to the ring from a previous injury.
While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer and Bryan Alvarez discussed the situation. Alvarez confirmed that Morgan has a shoulder injury and that the angle was designed to put her out of action for a while, possibly a long time. Meltzer added that the severity of the angle indicated a serious injury.
Interestingly, Morgan’s current injury is on the opposite shoulder from her previous one. The storyline injured her left shoulder, but it appears her right shoulder was the one injured previously.
