Former AEW Star Brian Pillman Jr. Reportedly Finalizing Deal with WWE
Brian Pillman Jr., who made a name for himself as one-half of the Varsity Blondes in AEW, is now a free agent. However, the wrestling world is abuzz with the news that Pillman Jr. might soon be making his mark in WWE.
Pillman Jr., the son of WWE legend Brian Pillman, became a free agent after his AEW contract expired earlier this month. Following his departure, reports surfaced that he had been training at the WWE Performance Center, sparking speculation about a potential WWE run.
According to Bodyslam.net, WWE is keen on signing Pillman Jr. even before their merger with UFC is finalized. The report suggests that a deal is already in place or in the process of being finalized.
“In an update to the situation surrounding Brian Pillman Jr. and his WWE status, sources have told me that a deal is in place, or is in the process of being finalized before it can officially be signed,” the report reads. It also indicates that Pillman Jr. will be relocating to Orlando, Florida by the end of August to train full-time at the WWE Performance Center.
During a Captain’s Corner Virtual Signing event, Pillman Jr. hinted at an exciting opportunity on the horizon. “There is a lot to come, I can’t speak on it right now, it’s kind of in the works. I have a huge moment, a huge opportunity coming up in my career to continue making memories,” he said.
As fans eagerly await the official announcement, Triple H may soon have the opportunity to book Brian Pillman’s son. This move could mark a significant turning point in Pillman Jr.’s career.
