NXT’s viewership hits a high note despite competition from the MLB All-Star game

WWE’s Tuesday night NXT show has seen a significant rise in its viewership, with an average of 671,000 viewers on the USA network. This is a 3.21 percent increase from last week’s Fourth of July episode and the highest audience total since June 20, when Seth Rollins defended his World Heavyweight Championship against Bron Breakker.

The episode featured an appearance by Judgment Day, which included Finn Balor and Damian Priest defeating Carmelo Hayes and Trick Williams in the main event. Despite going head-to-head with the MLB All-Star game, NXT drew a 0.20 rating in the 18-49 demo, up 5.39 percent from last week.

This week’s show was up 1.17 percent in overall viewers and up 2.5 percent in the 18-49 demographic compared to the recent averages. With this upward trend, it will be interesting to see how NXT continues to perform in the coming weeks.
