Toni Storm to Face Taya Valkyrie, Orange Cassidy Challenged by Archer
AEW continues to deliver high-octane wrestling action to its fans, with the Battle of the Belts series being a particular highlight. Major spoilers for the upcoming Battle of the Belts VII, set to air on Saturday, July 15, have been revealed. During the recent taping of AEW Rampage, several matches were confirmed, including a face-off between Taya Valkyrie and AEW Women’s Champion Toni Storm. After Valkyrie’s victory over Izzy McQueen, a confrontation with Storm led to a title match challenge for Battle of the Belts, which Storm accepted.
Another title match was set up during AEW Rampage, with Archer defeating Trent Beretta and subsequently challenging Orange Cassidy for the International Title. The only confirmed match for the special so far is TNT Champion Luchasaurus defending against Shawn Spears. The event, taking place at the Scotiabank Saddledome in Calgary, Alberta, marks the final stop in AEW’s recent tour of Canada.
