Punk to Provide Insight During Samoa Joe vs. Roderick Strong Quarterfinal Bout
AEW has announced that wrestling legend CM Punk will be joining the commentary team for an exciting match on this Saturday’s episode of AEW Collision.
AEW President Tony Khan revealed on Twitter that Punk will be providing his unique insights during the Owen Hart Foundation Men’s Tournament quarterfinal bout between Samoa Joe and Roderick Strong. This highly anticipated match is set to take place on the Saturday, July 1 episode of Collision.
Punk, who recently defeated Satoshi Kojima in his own quarterfinal bout at Sunday’s Forbidden Door pay-per-view, is now set to face the winner of the Joe vs. Strong match in the semifinals on the Saturday, July 8 episode of Collision.
The inclusion of Punk, Joe, and Strong, all veterans of past iterations of Ring of Honor, adds a layer of intrigue to the tournament. Notably, Joe currently holds the ROH World Television Championship.
