Quest Director Paweł Sasko Guides Fans Through the Dark Alleys of Dogtown
In the recent Xbox Games Showcase Extended, fans of Cyberpunk 2077 were given an exclusive tour of Dogtown’s Black Market, one of the key locations in the upcoming Phantom Liberty expansion.
Paweł Sasko, the Quest Director, guided viewers through the domain of Kurt Hansen, revealing some of the local rules and unique features of this notorious location. “Dogtown welcomes you with open arms. Very friendly, isn’t it?” Sasko quipped during the tour.
The Black Market, according to Sasko, is a place where players, as cyber-enhanced mercenaries, can acquire unique cyberware and weapons that can’t be found anywhere else in the game world. However, he also warned of the dangers that lurk within. “It’s a place that attracts all kinds of weird and dangerous characters,” he noted.
Sasko also highlighted the new cyberware capacity system, which pushes the player’s body to its limits and offers new abilities. These include air jumping, the ability to see enemies through walls, and changing one’s appearance to lose heat.
The tour concluded with a sneak peek into the law enforcement system in Dogtown, which is more dangerous than the NCPD and is governed by the Barghest authorities. Sasko revealed that the police system has been completely revamped to be more credible, dynamic, and diverse.
