WWE Legend Steve Austin Takes on a New Challenge in A&E’s ‘Stone Cold Takes on America
Over the years, the WWE has seen its share of dogs, from the legendary Junkyard Dog to the lunatic Road Dogg. However, none of these can compare to the challenge that “Stone Cold” Steve Austin recently faced. In a new episode of A&E’s “Stone Cold Takes on America,” Austin found himself in the Nevada desert, learning how to dogsled with a team of very enthusiastic Siberian Huskies.
“I’m pretty much a beginner at this,” Austin admitted as he prepared for a race against four other teams. Despite his inexperience, Austin and his team of dogs were ready to “haul ass.”
“There I am at the line. Shirley gives me the countdown. I tell my dogs to go and we’re hauling ass,” Austin recounted. Despite the fast pace and the pressure of the race, Austin found that the dogs were listening to him and working hard. “I feel like we’re going at a great pace, things are going well. The dogs are listening to me. Geez, they are working their asses off,” he said.
However, the race wasn’t without its challenges. “I’m going through the course, everything is going great, but Jess just closes the gap fast,” Austin revealed. Despite the intense competition, Austin remained focused and determined, embodying the spirit of his WWE persona.
“Stone Cold Takes on America” airs on Sundays at 10/9C on A&E.
